LivingWorks ASIST is a two-day face-to-face workshop featuring powerful audiovisuals, discussions, and simulations.
At a LivingWorks ASIST workshop, you'll learn how to prevent suicide by recognizing signs, providing a skilled intervention, and developing a safety plan to keep someone alive.
Two knowledgeable, supportive trainers will guide you through the course, ensuring your comfort and safety.
ASIST teaches participants to recognise when someone may have thoughts of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety. Although ASIST is widely used by healthcare providers, participants don’t need any formal training to attend the workshop – anyone 16 or older can learn and use the ASIST model.
The course runs over 2 day 9-4.30 on each day.
Up to 25 people can attend the course and will we will work with both in smaller groups and as a whole cohort.
This course can be ran as a open/public course where anyone can sign up or we can deliver it to your workplace for a specific team or organisation.
The cost of the course will vary depending on the above. Please get in touch to discuss this.
